Use TokenBazaar with VS Code

Use TokenBazaar as a custom OpenAI-compatible provider in VS Code.

Availability depends on the VS Code and Copilot Chat version installed. Use a compatible extension such as Cline or Continue if your model picker does not offer custom providers.

Before you start

  • A TokenBazaar API key
  • A version of the app that accepts a custom OpenAI-compatible base URL

Step-by-step setup

  1. 1

    Open Copilot Chat and open the model picker.

  2. 2

    Choose Manage Models, then add an OpenAI-compatible provider.

  3. 3

    Enter https://tokenbazaar.in/api/public/v1 as the provider URL and paste your TokenBazaar key.

  4. 4

    Add the exact model IDs you want and select one from the model picker.

Verify the connection

Start a short chat, then confirm the request appears in your TokenBazaar Dashboard with the model ID you selected.
